Northwest Quilting Expo {Part 2}

This post has all the pictorial quilts I took pictures of. I didn't take pictures of all of the quilts that were there, though.
I haven't done a pictorial quilt, I think I'm too intimidated by the preciseness needed to have it look realistic. These are beautiful aren't they?

  3. Beautiful quilts, I like the cabin the best. I want to do a pictorial quilt myself, but it won't be precise, more folk art;)

  4. Mel, these truly are awesome quilts! I have always been struck by the talented quilt artists there are in this world. Some quilts look like a painting! I would like to try doing something like this, on a smaller scale, but just a little something to see what I can do. Thanks for sharing this with us. :)

  7. Last year at bryce I took a class on landscape quilting. I didn't finish my project but I did understand the process. It is really different. These are pretty amazing. I love the one of the door the most.
