I was Tagged!
Eight random facts about me:
1. I was adopted when I was 3 days old.
2. I would like to be a funeral director / embalmer and have already taken one class in that field.
3. I owned a quilt shop for 5 years.
4. I have no desire what ever to go to Hawaii.
5. I actually love my mother-in-law and consider her one of my best friends.
6. Worked in a haunted house (forest) while in college.
7. I HATE to cook!
8. I don't like dogs - barking, drooling, barking, poop, barking, barking, barking.
OK, so instead of tagging 8 others, I would like YOU to leave at least ONE random fact about YOU on this post!!

ReplyDeleteI taught English as a Second Language (ESL) to foreign-born adults for a few years and LOVED it!

ReplyDeleteMy fact: I collect Liddle Kiddles, these insanely cute dolls with big eyes (like my paintings!) from the 1960's.
I learned to swim when I was 34, was terrified of water any deeper than my waist before that.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy very much being by myself, I know there are people out there who cannot stand it but that is one of the things I miss the most since becoming a mom!

ReplyDeleteI was born in Charters Towers, an old gold mining town in Queensland, Australia - I believe that during the gold rush, there were 57, or something like that, pubs in town!

I owned a quilt shop for 8-1/2 years...closed a year ago this past August and am having a blast...sewing whenever I want.
ReplyDeleteI love old 1940's black & white movies so I can see the cars, the fashions, and the music is cool.
ReplyDeleteI hide my General Foods International Coffee so I don't have to share it with my husband. When he asks for some, I just say "check the cupboard and see if we have some there." I'm very careful in the wording, I don't want to lie to him!
