Since this is a BLOGiversary, this is a BLOG game!
Without YOU I wouldn't have been as inspired to continue blogging this year!
So. I want to know what has been YOUR favorite post that YOU posted on YOUR blog?
Hey, I've made the giveaways extremely easy thus far, just asking for a little extra here! ;)
When you have entered YOUR favorite post, go visit everyone else's! It will be a neighborhood block party!

Oh no...the first comment NEVER wins!!
ReplyDeleteI picked the post with my grankids photos with their Christmas quilts last year. With all the toys they got, it was nice to see them at the end of the day all snuggled down with the quilts that grandma made them....
I picked a post about my daughter coming home from college for a vist. The best part was that Mark Lipinski commented! Go figure.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mel, what a lovely idea. I thought I'd share the post where I am experimenting quilt borders on a long skirt which will be part of my traditional garment.
ReplyDeleteeasy peasy, the birth of my grandson, Little T!!!
ReplyDeleteI liked this post because I was able to spend a lot of time with my husband and I learned how to change my own brakes!!
ReplyDeleteGreat prize - again! :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite post is about a baby quilt that has been handed down through the generations. Shows how valuable quilts can be.
ReplyDeleteWow Mel, you are coming up with so many clever ideas! This has certainly been a wonderful celebration.
ReplyDeleteSo many of my own postings I love. I'm a charity quilt (mostly) so choose one of the many charity postings.
ReplyDeleteInteresting idea. thanks.
O.K....I'm going to give it a try! I've only been blogging since April but I will try and pick my favorite!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, gosh...I didn't DO the link thing correctly. I wanted to paste THIS link there http://alittleofthisandalittleofpat.blogspot.com/2009/05/wild-horses-couldnt-drag-me-awayisnt.html
ReplyDeleteIt is a post about when we took the youngest granddaughter to see the wild horses at Assateague. BUT...I couldn't figure out how to DO it. I hope this doesn't rule me out for this part of the giveaway. I am having a BAD day.....sewing machine (not even a year old) broke for the SECOND time in less than a year. Roof leaked last night where the repairs are in progress. I'm sorry for not doing the link correctly. Any chance you can FIX it to include what I just put above???
What a great idea and love the "Block Party" that you have created!
ReplyDeleteI picked the post about the memorial to my mom...it meant the most to me.
Thanks again,
Hugs,
Elaine in SLO, Ca
Woo hoo, I did it. I have never copy and pasted before. I chose the one when I was first learning to make quilt blocks.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite post is the one on June 21, Father's Day about my dear Dad. Oh how I miss him!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun idea! My favorite post was where I was awaiting for my daughter, son and law and my two grandchildren, ages 2 and 4 to arrive from Utah (I live in Florida). I worked so hard to make everything perfect.....and 3 more married children were arriving throughout the week. If you go to the previous post, you would see all the things I made for my grandaughter's 2nd birthday....I recently moved to Florida, so haven't really established too many friends yet and have way too much time on my hands for sewing and quilting!
ReplyDeleteI chose this post because it is one that I was able to sing praises to the Lord. My 1st time doing a video(sorry no picture). Also first time I've sung for anyone but family since I was a child.
ReplyDeleteThank you Mel for a lovely party.
upps not sure that I did it right, but there is a give away on the page that opens, so guess that is my favourite and please enter anyone that reads it, still open till the 1st September
ReplyDeletecheers
Christine
I love the post I just did with me wearing a dress my daughter wore in the post before.
ReplyDeleteOh Mel, this is so fun reading everyone's comments.
ReplyDeleteI gotta say my favourite in a while was Hoot... not a real life thing, but a fun fiddly softie.
I still enjoy looking at him now :D
I see your owl on this post too.
Great minds...lol
hugs to you Mel,
Robyn xx
I posted my son's 8th grade graduation picture. Was a very happy day for us....now he's off to high school. Of course, my other favorite post was of pictures of my daughter playing softball for her high school team last spring. And, all my crafty posts make me happy, too!
ReplyDeleteAw, aw. awwwieeee, it's a lovely giveaway!!!. Well, my post's about the first really "big" quilt I ever made. It's an easy thing to do, but I just love the colours and the way it turned, I'm also a kind of new quilter and I'm really proud of it, ( also, I got 4 comments for it, lol).
ReplyDeleteHow adorable! I would love to win this!
ReplyDeleteI haven't been blogging very long so I picked the post with the most pictures!
ReplyDeleteLet me just say that owls are my thing! *wink, wink*
I posted about winning a prize on a blog. The gal said I made her laugh so hard and that makes me smile....having made someone laugh. We all need a little laughter in our lives.
ReplyDeleteSmiles,
Kelly
I chose my 'star tutorial'...at the
ReplyDeletetime it was a great challenge to me to write an easy to understand
tutorial that everyone was asking me to do...after I finally gave into it and did it....it wasn't as
bad as I thought it would be!!
This is a great idea! Happy blogiversary! My favorite post has been about my little dog Max because it recieved the most comments. As bloggers we love to hear from others!
ReplyDeleteSharon
I picked the post with the quilt I love so much with the vintage sheets!!
ReplyDeleteI linked to my most recent blog post. In it I talk about nothing crafty. It is all about my wedding day. I just had an anniversary so it is very dear to my heart!
ReplyDeleteI'm Sandy, a winner. I received my fabrics from Cloud 9 and oh my they are so BEAUTIFUL. Thanks for the wonderful giveaway.
ReplyDeleteoops...mucked up...I'm one of those people who NEVER reads the instructions until something goes wrong!!!! My first post is my fave...because I've only done 7, (I'm such a newby), actually achieving something..even if by mistake, was such a thrill!!! You'll find it at http://sugarlanequilts.blogspot.com/2009/09/hi-and-welcome-from-newbie.html/
ReplyDeleteI told ya I'm a newby!!!!! *dang*
