Aren't my parents CUTE?
They are in Argentina serving an 18 month church mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I'm very proud of them, they have always been a great example to me and my son.
I miss them so much, but I'm very proud of them!!
Mel..how wonderful! They are cute and I can tell that they both are great people. I just wish my parents were still here!
ReplyDeleteMy son gets his call next Wednesday! Can't wait!!!
What lovely parents you have! You must be missing them heaps during the holidays...
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful parents you have been blessed with!
ReplyDeleteYour parents look so sweet! I bet they are having the time of their lives! I'm so glad you shared them with us - I hope someday my daughter will be able to share Karl and my missionary pictures. We joined the Church in our 30's, so we missed out on the chance in our youth. But our goal is to someday serve! I bet you are very proud of them!!

Oh you are so lucky to still have your parents! and yes they are darling!1 18 months, that is a long time, I hope it goes by fast for you and a wonderful time for them!
ReplyDeleteThis touches my heart bz in 6 days (next Wed.) we take our son to the MTC to start serving his mission. How you must miss your parents. I miss Travis already and he's not even gone yet. You have every right to be proud of them to be so willing to serve. I don't know if we'll be able to when/if we retire but that's our goal. We'll see where life takes us!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a cute picture. They have light in their eyes.
