Yesterday, Amy and I visited Piper's; a quilt shop that wasn't on today's shop hop schedule. This has long been a fav of mine and I was excited to show Amy the charming shop.
I was so pleased that Amy loved it! I knew she would!
Today 50 of us Sewing Summit ladies got on a bus and went to three shops in the area. The first was Pine Needles at Gardner Village.
Second was to Quilts Etc
Our last stop was Material Girls.
The trip was full of giveaways, yummies and awesome discounts!
Here's what I collected throughout the day.
Having owned a shop I have dramatically cut down on spontaneous purchases. I'm thrilled at what I got though and can't wait to create!
This evening, the Sewing Summit had a reception where I met even more amazing sewing bloggers. I'm sooo inspired being around all these enthusiastic women!
I got to meet my sis and sis-in-law for dinner and had a great visit with them for a while.
Bed time, classes begin tomorrow!

Oh, wow, sounds like so much fun. All the goodies, that was worth the trip too. lol Can't wait to see what you do in class.
