On my right side bar is a list of things I wanted to accomplish this year. Designing an owl of some sort was on the list, but we can put a check on that one! I took lots of pictures while making this birdie and I hope to make a tutorial soon. (Just in case you are interested.)

not so {Bad}I don't really have a picture for this title, but it hasn't been too bad that my hubby has taken two weeks off of work!! Urban and I have loved having him around!
the {Ugly}
I think you'll agree the title is accurate for this picture! This is my right wrist just a couple of days after my carpal tunnel surgery. It's totally worth it though and I'm healing nicely - I can even cut and sew fabric now! I may have to get the other wrist done!
Special thanks to my mother-in-law, Geri who took me in and helped me run errands!
I can't wait for that tutorial. Sorry about your wrist. I hope that you heal soon and you can get back to your sewing as you did before.
ReplyDeleteAll the best,
Micki
Cute owl. And your hand/wrist looks so sore. Hope you get stitching soon.
ReplyDeleteThe Good...very cute and can't wait for the tutorial. The not so bad...glad you're having a good time. The Ugly...yikes, you're right, but so glad you're feeling better.

I have a friend who is wild about owls...can't wait for the tutorial to show her (or make one for her as a surprise). Her birthday is the end of May....so maybe the tutorial will be out in enough time for me to do that???
ReplyDeleteThat is such a cute owl! It will be fun to make. That wrist does look ugly. Sure glad you're feeling better.
ReplyDeleteMel, I so feel your pain. About 10 years ago I had both of my hands done at the same time. It was soooooo worth it! You'll be amazed at what you can do again. I'll email you after work about the language blog! I better get back to work now bz my break is over. Cindy
ReplyDeleteImpressive, and I'm talking about the owl and not the wrist, although it is amazing and what can be achieved with so little cutting...
