I love it!!

I have been dying to make the brilliant sewing car caddy that Karen of Sew Many Ways had on one of her Tool Time Tuesday features.
The picture in the top left shows how I stored my pins before.  In every car, on the passenger visor you'll find pins and / or needles.  Nathan hated it, so now I have a perfect and stylish alternative!
I love the fabrics and think the combo is so 'me'!  Wanna make your own?  Go on over to Karen's, you'll love it!

  1. Oh you are a girl of my world.
My husband says it is a little embarassing when he picks up friends for coffee and he has to move the spools of thread and pick threads off the seat.

  2. Mel, this one is soooo cute. The fabric is great and your pincushion is a thousand times cuter than mine. Did you hot glue it on? Thanks so much for the links too, you're a sweetie.

ps. my famous line in the car was...ok when we get out everyone has to help me look for my pins and the spool of thread that I dropped. My family is happy when I use this too.

  4. You're so lucky that you can sew in the car. I get car sick if I try to do anything like this. I have a friend that could sure use this though and I love it! I'm going to send her over to the link you gave to learn how to make one for herself! Love it! Cindy

  12. That's a really good idea! Too bad I don't have time to make one. I'm leaving on a big trip in a few days and there will be lots of driving time.
