Charming Girl's Quilt Club - August

Well I'm counting the first month of the Charming Girl's Quilt Club a success for me even though I didn't get all my projects done. I did get 2 out of 3, so that's not too bad!
I really think the challenge helped to keep me focused to get the projects done. And I only started 4 new projects instead of a dozen!!
* * * * * AUGUST GOALS * * * * *
  1. Finish Witchie Hats (my own design) for Jane's Spooktackular Halloween Swap. I'm making fifteen 12 1/2" paper pieced blocks - 12 for swapping and three for individual swaps.
  2. Quilt my St. Paddy's wall hanging I made using Kim's FREE tutorial
  3. Finish, quilt and send a little something for my parents. I'm not posting a picture because I want it to be a surprise!
OK, so I should be able to get these done! Before I start on those three, I need to make a few things for our family reunion this weekend. Hmm, maybe I have something laying around here I can use!
Good luck Charming Girls Everywhere!!

  3. It all looks like "sew" much fun! Great to have goals. I had a lot for summer, but summer had some different ones for me! I guess that's just the way life goes sometimes! It's o.k. though because I appreciate the small moments that I do have! Enjoy your family reunion!
