While my Geri and Lori were here, they wanted to visit Georgetown – a place I had blogged about in a previous post.
The small mining town charmed them as it did me the first time I visited. It was fun to see it colored in fall’s changing leaves.
I saved my favorite house (of this trip) for last . . .
{sigh}
I miss that place! I told Miles that we can move there and he can work in the mine. Great idea, right??
ReplyDeleteI love Georgetown. We've been there before I was a blogger :(
ReplyDeleteYou did a good job of capturing on "film" what you felt in your heart!
ReplyDeleteDad
Oh that looks like someplace I would just love. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWhat a charming town...love your photos...thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! I love the homes and buildings. We were hoping to move up there a few years ago, but nothing was for rent at the time. The kids love the park and the Georgetown Loop Railroad.
ReplyDeleteOh yes I can see why you love it!!
ReplyDeleteSuch character.
Your photos are fabulous Mel and I especially like the one of the deer and the red front yard (I think).
Thanks for sharing xx
Georgetown reminds me of our trip to Manitou Springs, CO. Manitou Springs is where the Pike's Peak Cog Wheel Railroad station is located. Such a great little town with cute little houses. I love visiting these types of places! (http://www.flickr.com/photos/potteryandeverythingelse/1718179165/in/set-72157602655090859/)
