{Picture heavy!}
On Labor Day we loaded up the VW for a day trip.  One of our stops was to Buffalo Bill’s grave site, tourist area.

We traveled further west on I-70 and ended up in Georgetown.  I AM IN LOVE with this town.
Charming, quaint, cozy, these words are simple descriptions of this town but they do not do it justice.  I tried to capture the beauty, take a look.

See how cozy it is nestled within the mountains?

Sigh . . . .

Oh, and while walking around this blissful place, one could hear steam whistles from the historic Royal Gorge Route Railroad.

Another pleasure to the ears was the water streaming through canals in different areas of the town and bells tolling from a nearby bell tower.

You are right what a beautiful town. I think I saw a for sale sign on one of the houses!

Don't you just want to move into one of those houses? What a lovely town.

What a LOVELY place!!! I suspect you will visit there again (and again and again!) Wouldn't it be fun to get some of the same photos but in different seasons??
