The last quilt in my Aunt Susanne's collection of quilts is a Grandmother's Flower Garden (1" hexagon) quilt hand pieced and hand quilted by my grandmother in 1931.
The arrow is pointing to my Grandmother's name, Ruth Park 1931, embroidered in the quilt. In 1931, the date on the quilt she was not married so technically, she should have her maiden name Gillette.
The colors are exquisite aren't they??
Love the triple zig-zag border.

Absolutely beautiful. All the work involved with all that hand piecing. The colors a truly wonderful and I love the triple border. You are very blessed to have these quilts and memories. Lynne
