Rewind

I hope you don't mind going back in time with me to Christmas.

My parents in Argentina sent some really awesome gifts that I must share with those of you who, like me, admire treasures made by hand!

As I opened the orange box, I was hit with the wonderful aroma of citrus - an added bonus to the intricate carved piece!

Art Market in SLC!

Yeah!! I just got an email promoting this and I'm so excited! I've heard of the ginormous art events that take place in Seattle and Portland and while this will probably be small in comparison, I'm looking forward to soaking up all the creative chi and balancing my artsy chakras!

Pay It Forward

I've seen and heard the phrase out there on blogs, but didn't ever fully understand what it is until I asked Christine.
Pay It Forward is a fun opportunity to make three handmade items and give them to the first three friends who sign up! You have a whole year to get your gifty to them!
I'm not planning on getting around to even thinking about what I'll be making and sending yet, but for the three that sign up, I promise you will have something handmade by me within 365 days!
In return, I look forward to something lovely and handmade from Christine, (since I signed up with her) within the next year!
So basically, it's a sharing of talents and giving - that's what we quilters do best!!
If YOU would like ME to send you something homemade and are willing to make three gifts for three others, be one of the first three to let me know! (leave a comment to this post)
PLEASE, only sign up if you are positive that you will be able to follow through!
If you are one of the three who sign up with me:
Place the image on your blog with the PIF instructions. THANKS for joining and have a fun time giving!
