Do you wanna?

I was playing around with my cute Christmas Cottages and no matter how I arrange them, I NEED MORE!!! I asked Nanette if it would be ok with her if I posted that I want to swap for some more cottages and she said "Sure, I don't mind at all! Swap away!!" I would like to exchange blocks - ONE of mine for ONE of yours. If you would like to swap with me, please: Use quilt shop fabric only in Christmas or winter colors and/or prints. Follow Nanette's tutorial to make the Christmas Cottage. I am NOT attempting to have this done by Christmas so I'm setting the mailing deadline as January 20th. I will send out my blocks as soon as I receive yours, you won't necessarily have to wait until the 20th. Send me an email at melissa266(at)gmail(dot)com or leave a comment on this post to tell me that you would like to swap! Sign up deadline is January 15th. Bonus: I will include a quick and simple table topper pattern (I designed) along with the cottage block that I send to you! I will post the group I got as soon as my computer is fixed! :)

I haven't made this before. I don't know if you want a newbie to play but I will definately try! I'd love to make a pillow or something out what you make.

This sounds like a cool swap! I'd totally swap with you if I was good at quilting, hee hee. I can't wait to see what the blocks look like - they sound really interesting!

Happy stitching,

Ok, I'm in. I'll have to polish up my quarter inch seam allowance, pull out my favourite Christmas fabric and be a really good girl so Santa will visit. Will we get to see the blocks you already have? or did you show them and I missed them?
Cheers

Thank you so much for your sweet comment!! I was in a funk yesterday, but I feel 100% better today, just woke up and wanted to paint! So I made a little painting, cleaned up around the house, and now I feel good again. I'm so glad you and Urban are going to craft along with me. How cute!! I want to see his projects too - I bet he's an awesome artist!

Thanks again for being so supportive; it is totally motivating to know that we are going to go an an art adventure together, hee hee! :)
