This weekend and Utah (fun) news

RAIN tomorrow!
Normally, no problem. But . . .
Tomorrow is the Walk Now for Autism event in Provo, Utah. We have to be there by 8:30 in the MORNING!! If you've noticed the usual time I post, it's well after midnight so as you can assume I'm NOT a morning person!! But we will be there, bright and early but maybe a bit ornery! It's suppose to rain, but the walk will go on!
After the walk, I'm going to the Beehive Bazaar which is also down in Provo. I'm excited to see all the homemade inspirations!
If you are in the Salt Lake area, May is a great time to eat at local restaurants for a little less money. It's Dine-o-Round time! Everything from Seafood (yeck) to Mexican. Thai to Greek dishes. Burgers to Lunch menus to dinner favorites. It's a great time for the hubby and I, our 13th wedding anniversary is May 11th so we get to celebrate in style for a deal!
The Utah Home Machine Quilting Show is May 7 - 9 at the South Towne Expo (9575 So. State Street) in Sandy. Even if you don't have a long arm quilting machine, it's worth it to go and see the beautiful quilt show and shop the vendor's mall. A group of friends and I go every year just to get inspired. Click here for $1 off coupon.
A year or so ago I took a Folk Lore class at the community college and love it!! So I was excited when I saw an advertisement for the Southern Utah Folk Life Festival in Springdale, Utah. May 9th, noon to 5pm. Music, food, demonstrations, children activities and storytelling. Canyon Community Center, 126 Lion Blvd.
No doubt that Urban will want to go to Heber Valley Railroad (AGAIN!) to this event!
May 21 - 25.
Days of Camelot held in St. George, UT is a two day Medieval Faire. May 22 and 23 at Washington County Regional park. Parades, demonstrations, reenactments, games and food!
Salt Lake City Gallery Stroll is the third Friday of every month. Click here for venues and participants.
OK, there's my Come Visit Utah post! I love the diversity of entertainment and family activities our state has to offer and I haven't even begun to scratch the surface!! As the warmer weather brings camping season, I'll post more of our wonderful landscapes, trails and other outdoor fun Utah has to offer!

I used to be a night person. I'm lucky to be up after 10 most times now. Sounds like you are going to be very busy! Hope your walk goes great.
