Cozy Flannel Snuggy




It was so fun and fast quilting large random circles all over this flannel split 9 patch quilt I made for my nephew. 


I made the 9 patch from 6 1/2" squares, then split the blocks twice and sewed them back together as shown.  Real fast, real easy.


I usually try to make my nephews a quilt when they are born, but two years ago I had a 2 year old so I didn't get quilts made for Logan or Grant.  So they get one when they turn 2!  


I don't think they'll mind the wait!

Oh it does look cozy, and they will love it now just as much!! I can it being dragged all over the house!!

They will love the quilts now even more than when they were born.. and will probably become their favorite "blankies". :-)
