Red and Aqua Swap Blocks

As I've said before, my computer is undergoing a phlebotomy so I don't have my usual programs that help me edit my pictures for easier viewing. We're going to have to go old school and view one at a time.

You won't be disappointed with the pics though, they are of the final results of my red and aqua blocks for Jane's swap. I loved working with these fun colors together!!

The colors appear a little dark here.  I'm so excited to see all the blocks that I get back!!

I was wondering if this block could be made with charm packs, and do you have a tutorial or how to cut and assemble. I am sure experienced people are rolling their eyes, but I am new to quilting...just a few months, and think this is really cute, and don't want to ruin anything trying to make it! Thanks!

Wow - they look great, Mel! You just amaze me - driving through a massive snowstorm to a new state and still able to do a quilty post - Bravo!
Cheers!

I'm in this swap, too--am really excited about getting blocks back--I'm sure we'll all have one of everyone's...anyway, I hope so. You are the one who encouraged me to do a swap and recommended Jane. Have a great weekend!

Love your blocks! This is one swap I know I will regret not joining but I was too overwhelmed at the time of sign ups. I can't wait to see everyone's finished quilts.

Congrats on your move! Hope you enjoy your new home.

I would never think of putting aqua and red together, but it looks quite nice together!

Your blocks are so pretty...love your fabrics!
I tried not to look at mine too much so I would actually give them away...I tend to get too attached :)
