Some Northern Colorado Quilt Shops

1. Rain and the wonderful smell
2. Cloud cover
3. Fire pit in common area

I love the sleek open style of The Quilter's Studio shop in Longmont, Colorado.  Gorgeous fabrics and lots of inspirational samples.  I love the huge book selection displayed in the cubbie type shelving!
(Visit their website, they've got more {better} pics!)

This shop reminded me of another favorite find in Oregon - Cool Cottons.

Thread Bear Quilting Fabrics, also located in Longmont, was a darling little shop with some fun antiques as well as quilting fabrics!  The classroom was buzzing with machines sewing Thimbleberries Club projects.

Lyons is a fun stop on the way to Estes Park and one of the reasons is Quilting Hands!  I can't tell you how many bolts of fabrics they had, but there were at least one hundred that were on SALE!!

I can tell I need to do a Colorado Shop Hop some day. Isn't it nice to see such wonderful shops along the way?

Sounds like you're having a fun time!!! My husband went to school in Boulder and we used to ski in Colorado when we lived in Nebraska. As a matter of fact, we were married in Vail on a ski trip!!! Great memories. Sounds like I need to get out there again and check out those quilt shops!!

I have family up in Colorado Springs; I can see I'm going to have to visit up there, so I can tour quilt shops! They all look so fun!

I got my *happy* in the mail yesterday! Thanks, Mel! The button is particularly darling! :)

I wish I could hit that many shops, looks like such fun.
Then I would have to go without eating for awhile;)
