{THREE} More Colorado Quilt Shops

Be Aware, Be Thankful
1. Cheap airfare
2. Long baths
3. Hot Chocolate
* * *

You may remember that a couple weeks ago my in-laws came to Denver for a visit.  While they were here, Nathan and I took advantage of babysitters and headed out in our VW to visit more of the Colorado area.

While exploring the mountain regions, we came across the most charming quilt shop ever!

Upon entering Cottage Bliss, I was greeted by a very nice woman and offered a cup of tea to sip while browsing.  I expected a small paper cup of tea but when she returned, the aromatic tea was generously served in a porcelain tea cup with matching saucer.  How DELIGHTFUL!  There was also English Toffee to sample.

Needless to say, I found lots of fun stuff here and I stayed a long while soaking up the charm!

Maggie Mae's Quilts, also in Estes Park, was a little shop that had reproduction fabrics and designs galore!  Accented with antique furniture, the shop and it's quilts will delight your visit!

If you are looking for scenery fabrics and design, Mountain Lady Quilt Shop in Estes Park is what you're looking for!

I love how the shops display their quilts to go with the patterns, so much fun, just to look.

That first quilt shop sounds amazing! I've never heard of such service. They certainly know how to draw people in, which I'm sure prompted you to buy more things.
I loved the fun colors of the chairs in front.

Thanks so much for the quilt shops in Estes Park, CO. You must have been reading my mind! We're taking our granddaughter on vacation to Peaceful Valley Dude Ranch in July and I was just wondering if they've got any good quilt shops in Estes. Your post couldn't have come at a better time.
