* * OP * *

OK! Here's my SHOUT OUT to the participants and Pat of the OP Challenge!!!
I stressed out about this challenge, not knowing what to expect, so I bought over 7 yards of fabric for this and as soon as I saw Pat's blocks, I headed out to the quilt shop again to get different fabric!!!
Yes, I'm doin it 'lazy' style!
I plan on making the blocks for a baby quilt for a nephew that will be born in April. I think the combo will make a darling boy quilt!
I will post a picture of the finished (baby) quilt when I'm done, hopefully this weekend!!
Have a fun and creative weekend!!

Love what you did with the block. I made one and it's not quite straight. This way would not have shown that! Your colors are great.

Mel, I love your colors and the blocks are sooooo fun!!! I think they will make a wonderful baby boy quilt. I really think we need to break out of the "babies must be in pastels" mind set. Though I love pastels and darling baby prints, your brights are wonderful and will give the baby's eyes something to feast on. As for doing your blocks the lazy way??? I don't think your way is easier...matter of fact, it is tougher for me to make blocks that are not symetrical.
