Good, (not so) Bad, and the Ugly

{Good}

On my right side bar is a list of things I wanted to accomplish this year. Designing an owl of some sort was on the list, but we can put a check on that one! I took lots of pictures while making this birdie and I hope to make a tutorial soon. (Just in case you are interested.)

not so {Bad}

I don't really have a picture for this title, but it hasn't been too bad that my hubby has taken two weeks off of work!! Urban and I have loved having him around!

the {Ugly}

I think you'll agree the title is accurate for this picture! This is my right wrist just a couple of days after my carpal tunnel surgery. It's totally worth it though and I'm healing nicely - I can even cut and sew fabric now! I may have to get the other wrist done!

Special thanks to my mother-in-law, Geri who took me in and helped me run errands!

All the best,

I have a friend who is wild about owls...can't wait for the tutorial to show her (or make one for her as a surprise). Her birthday is the end of May....so maybe the tutorial will be out in enough time for me to do that???

Mel, I so feel your pain. About 10 years ago I had both of my hands done at the same time. It was soooooo worth it! You'll be amazed at what you can do again. I'll email you after work about the language blog! I better get back to work now bz my break is over. Cindy

Impressive, and I'm talking about the owl and not the wrist, although it is amazing and what can be achieved with so little cutting...

Oh my goodness girl....ouch!! That wrist looks like it must be killing you....I hope the soreness to wear off very soon. The owl is adorable. I never was into owls but my mom is. (btw...everyone claims I look like her) Is that a good thing? Hmmmm Anyway, the owl was a quick reminder of my mom.
