Blogiversary - Remember the Cottages?

This really is the event that started it all for me.
In September of 2008, Nanette of Freda's Hive posted a tutorial on how to make a darling cottage block.
That lead to her hosting a Cottage Swap and that inspired me to have a Cottage Warming Party complete with cottage tours, games, refreshments and goodie bags.
Go back and re-live the fun or see it for the first time, great friendships were made!
This post's giveaway:
WINNER: Dotti
Items can be purchased at www.sewsweetquilts.net
Apron Pattern and 3 yards of Brown Ricrack
To qualify for the pattern and ricrack, leave a comment on THIS post.

Have you seen Robyn's GREAT bag pattern in the latest issue of Down Under Quilts? To call it a 'bag' is so mundane, it's a wonderful ACceSSoRy that is also very useful! I love the front pocket!

Ugh, you had to bring up the cottages! Mine are sitting in a drawer right now! LOL I really do need to finish that quilt. I was trying to remember when I started reading your blog and this post jogged my memory. I came for the party and never went home! Thanks for letting me hang out for the past ten months!!

I remember the cottages and the tours. I was so upset because of other committments I could not do the swap.
I finally found time and hosted a themed cottage swap and we just received the September ones.
Please count me in the giveaway, the apron looks very nice.

I"ve not made any aprons but they are certainly back in style, so put my name down for this one, too. You are a sweetie to do such a nice giveaway for your blog's anniversary.
