Tuffets

1. Alone time
2. Silence
3. Happy thoughts
* * * * *

Got my December Schnibbles done!  These were fun to make and easy since I had lots of trimming pieces around from previous projects!

I had heard how wonderful crushed walnuts are for stuffing the cushions, so I bought a bag (at Petco) and now I'm set for many, many, many, many more!  It's a big bag!

Notice the darling strawberry pin?  That is from Melissa of Cornbread and Beans Quilting who hostessed the Civil War signature swap. I love it!

You are cruisin' through the Schnibbles and they all look great. Cute pincushions. I bought a big bag of those walnut shells too. They are pretty cool but I probably won't use the whole bag in my lifetime.

Love your tuffets! It's always gratifying to finish a tiny piece because they can be hard to handle. I love to make pincushions, and I use clumping kitty litter such as Fresh Step. It doesn't clump in the cushion, and it wicks away any moisture on needles and pins.

Very nice, Mel!

So cute and *so* very tiny! I'm glad someone qualified that it was crushed walnut shells or this [born] blonde girl would have continued to think you were using the crushed nutmeats; I was a little perplexed. :) I like your thankful list today . . . they all go hand-in-hand.

Yes, weren't they fun? I, too, am set for many tuffets with my Petco bag of shells.

Fun little tuffets, and don't you love the crushed walnut shells as a pincushion filler?
