This is the first quilt I made with 30's reproduction fabrics. I had been collecting them for a while but hadn't found the right pattern for them.
This quilt is the first quilt I machine quilted by myself on my friend's long arm Gammill machine.
AND this is the first quilt pattern I ever taught. I found it the perfect project for beginners and taught two classes in the quilt shop I owned years ago.
Have you seen all the amazing quilts out there?? Thanks Amy and all participants for all your inspiring posts!

Very nice...I never used to be attracted to 30's fabrics but have lately become interested in them. You did a really good job on that quilt....and how nice to be able to long-arm it yourself, too.
Cute little quilt! Awesome that you got to quilt it yourself, how fun!
Awesome! I just recently discovered the 30's reproductions...LOVE them!

I use this book/pattern to teach beginners at the local quilt shop. I have taught more than 50 new quilters using this quilt. I really like yours.
