I was Tagged!

Eight random facts about me: 1. I was adopted when I was 3 days old. 2. I would like to be a funeral director / embalmer and have already taken one class in that field. 3. I owned a quilt shop for 5 years. 4. I have no desire what ever to go to Hawaii. 5. I actually love my mother-in-law and consider her one of my best friends. 6. Worked in a haunted house (forest) while in college. 7. I HATE to cook! 8. I don't like dogs - barking, drooling, barking, poop, barking, barking, barking. OK, so instead of tagging 8 others, I would like YOU to leave at least ONE random fact about YOU on this post!! Photo taken by my 3 year old son; Urban

I bite my nails. I know, you would think in my 33 years I would have figured out how to stop doing that by now.

I loved your facts! So cool that you owned a quilt shop. :)

My fact: I collect Liddle Kiddles, these insanely cute dolls with big eyes (like my paintings!) from the 1960's.

I learned to swim when I was 34, was terrified of water any deeper than my waist before that.

I enjoy very much being by myself, I know there are people out there who cannot stand it but that is one of the things I miss the most since becoming a mom!
Maybe one of these days I will bothr you with quilting questions as for many years I have been wanting to learn/start.
Thank you for inviting us to share a bit of ourselves!

What a wonderful idea when tagged - I must remember that!
I was born in Charters Towers, an old gold mining town in Queensland, Australia - I believe that during the gold rush, there were 57, or something like that, pubs in town!

I love old 1940's black & white movies so I can see the cars, the fashions, and the music is cool.

I hide my General Foods International Coffee so I don't have to share it with my husband. When he asks for some, I just say "check the cupboard and see if we have some there." I'm very careful in the wording, I don't want to lie to him!

I was tagged in this one too and like your solution of not tagging anyone. I think I might that too if you don't mind?
A special fact about me: I love watching TV series such as Gray's Anatomy, Gossip Girl, Eli Stone, The house of Elliot etc etc.
BTW I saw your name on different blogs and decided to give you a visit. You will be on my list for a frequent visit(O:
