Here's a couple of little projects.
I made this table runner for my mom-in-law for Christmas this year. The original pattern didn't have any borders, but my MIL has a large oak table (not pictured) so I thought the runner needed some more substance. I like how the two borders look, I'm pleased with the whole project. I quilted it on my sewing machine very simply.
The Daisey wall hanging is from a magazine from a few years back. I had made a few of them, one for my mom, mom-in-law, a good friend and one for me! I hand quilted them.
NOTE: Pat Sloan recognized the darling wall hanging as HER design that was in Americal Patchwork and Quilting magazine! Thanks Pat!
Hey, the two look great together don't they? Maybe I'll keep the table runner for myself! ;)

I think your MIL should be very pleased with the runner. I love the wallhanging - daisies are my favourite flowers.

I love the wallhanging. The runner looks great with the borders!
They really do look good together - be a Good Girl and stick to your original plan!

Oh Mel, I love those, I am sure your MIL will love it!
They are both very pretty. The daisy wallhanging looks like a Pat Sloan pattern.
Mel, I do love it and it goes very well with the daisy wall hanging that you made for me. Thanks so much.
