Fun Tutorials

Have you read my original post about the Autism Awareness Day Fundraiser Event on April 2, 2009 that I am going to hold here, on my blog?
Giveaways * Awareness * Dotate
I was wandering around the Internet, actually, if you notice the time of the posting I was 'sleep wandering' around the Internet! Anyway . . . I found some GREAT tutorials!! Retro Mama (Kim) has a tute for these fabric Easter eggs. Sometimes Crafter has instructions to make charming modern hot pads and another for similar styled drink coasters. How 'bout a Collapsible Bucket? It collapses into a flat fold of fabric so you can put it in your purse or glove compartment until you need it! Collapsible Bucket - More DIY How To Projects Isn't the format of this great? It's from the site Instructables which features instructions (obviously) about all sorts of stuff from food, kids, music, outdoors, etc - you've got to check it out! Tumbling Blocks shows us how to make an Oil Cloth Lunch Bag. I bought one similar to this at an art show and I love it!! I keep all of my applique stuff in there.

Have a creative weekend!

Funny what productive links we can find when we are up in the middle of the night because we are having trouble sleeping! LOL

And I thought I had found every site with patterns there was! I like the coasters. Now, go to sleep!

Hi Mel,
Thanks so much for the awesome links. I'll also send you a picture of my donated item when it's finished. Thanks so much for organizing the auction.

Thank you for linking! I have some more tutorials in the works now to be posted soon.

I want to try out some easter eggs. I've had the collapsable bucket on my "to make" list for awhile now.
